There is a lot of talk these days about foreclosures, the collapse of the sub-prime mortgage market and the future of real estate.
Not a day goes by where foreclosures aren’t on the front page of a paper somewhere. So I’m always wondering with all the talk and press coverage why is it I never see what the effects look like. Now there’s a simple way to do just that.
The good folks at Yahoo have created a website that helps you find foreclosures not only by ZIP code, but also by address.
Even if you’re not in the market for a foreclosed home, the page provides a quick look at how things are doing in your area and a nice breakdown of the properties in trouble.
The site also provides a breakdown of foreclosures by state, recent articles on the topic, as well as guides and trends. Well worth spending a few minutes of your day to look it over.
